What You Call Your Substack Matters

Only if you want more subscribers and more profits

The title you choose for you Substack site makes a huge difference in your conversion: new subscribers and new profits.

I see more than a few folks with the title of “[First Name]’s Substack,” Unless you are super famous, that’s not gonna do you any good.

Some of my Substack Profit System clients come to me with that kind of title. The first thing we do is change it to a “benefit/transformation title” — what is the benefit and transformation delivered.

This week we began with new client Melva. Her niche is “couple’s communication.” What would make you want to click, read, and subscribe:

“Melva’s Substack” OR “Keeping Your Love Alive” ?

We’ve just begun with this one — and the title will pull in just the right free subscribers and paid subscribers.

As another example, would “Jeff’s Substack” or “Content Profit Systems” make you more inclined to read my stuff, subscribe, and become a paid subscriber or customer?

Bottom Line? Make your Substack title “benefit and transformation driven.”
